Description

Find a coding interview question that you think is appropriate for someone roughly at your level. Analyze what it tests and predict likely clarifications and follow-ups.

This assignment is due at the beginning of class on October 3, via Moodle.

Assignment requirements

Find or make up a coding interview question appropriate for someone at your level. It's also OK to straight-up steal one from the internet -- just cite your source.

In addition to the question itself, provide the following information:

• Explain why an interviewer might ask this. What does it test?
• Give a good clarifying question an interviewee might ask.
• List 1-2 corner cases that the interviewee should be sure to consider.
• Give a good follow-up question the interviewer might ask if somehow the interviewee answers the question perfectly.
