CS 115 Lab 12, Part D: Submit your code
[Back to lab instructions]
Instructions
- If you have been working on the server using PuTTY or Terminal, skip the next two steps.
- [local] Use FileZilla to copy your Lab 12 files to your cs115/lab12 directory on cwolf.
- [local] If you logged out of cwolf earlier in the lab, log back in using PuTTY or Terminal, and navigate to your Lab 12 directory:
cd cs115/lab12
- From your Lab 12 directory, run the following command:
~srivoire/cs115/pickup/test.sh lab12 lab12c.py
If all of the tests say "OK", then your output matches the sample output and you
should proceed to submit your code (skip the next step).
If one or more of the tests gives you a URL, paste that URL into your browser to see
the differences between your code and the sample code.
- On cwolf, type the following command to submit your lab12c program:
~srivoire/bin/submit 115
When prompted for the assignment, type L12
When prompted for the file to submit, you can hit ENTER to submit lab12c.py. If your
file has a different name, type that name and then hit ENTER.
- Wait about two minutes, and then check the submission web page to verify that your file has been submitted correctly:
http://rivoire.cs.sonoma.edu/cs115/submit/lab12.txt
The filename will have changed slightly to include your last name and a timestamp.
- Log out of cwolf and complete your writeup.
- With the writeup and code confirmation pages open in your browser, call an instructor to check out of lab.
